Shipping policy
Effective Date: 15 October 2026
At GMED, the medical equipment brand of Genique Medcrop Pvt. Ltd., we aim to deliver your orders safely and efficiently. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched, delivered, and handled in case of shipping-related issues.
Order Processing
Orders are processed after order details, product availability, and payment requirements have been verified.
Processing times may vary depending on the product, stock availability, order quantity, technical requirements, and delivery location.
Products requiring special procurement, installation, demonstrations, or additional coordination may require extra processing time. Any applicable estimated timeline will be communicated to the customer.
For quotation-based orders, dispatch arrangements will be confirmed according to the approved quotation and payment terms.
Shipping Locations
GMED may deliver products to serviceable locations across India, subject to product availability, courier coverage, and applicable delivery arrangements.
Delivery availability for remote areas, restricted locations, or locations requiring special handling will be confirmed before dispatch where necessary.
International shipping, if available for a particular product or order, will be subject to separate confirmation, applicable charges, customs requirements, and other relevant conditions.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout or communicated in the quotation or invoice before the order is confirmed.
Shipping costs may vary depending on the product's size, weight, packaging, delivery location, handling requirements, and selected delivery method.
For bulk orders, large medical equipment, or orders requiring special transportation, shipping charges may be quoted separately.
Customers should review the shipping charges and delivery terms before completing their purchase.
Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times depend on product availability, order processing, dispatch schedules, courier services, and the destination.
Any delivery timeline communicated by GMED is an estimate unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly confirmed in writing.
Delays may occur due to courier disruptions, weather conditions, public holidays, transport restrictions, operational issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
GMED will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delivery updates when information is available.
Shipping and Tracking
Once an order is dispatched, tracking details may be shared with the customer where the shipping provider offers tracking facilities.
Customers should use the provided tracking information to monitor shipment progress.
If tracking information is unavailable or a shipment appears delayed, customers may contact GMED for assistance.
Cash on Delivery (COD) and Pay on Delivery
Cash on Delivery (COD) and other payment-on-delivery options may be available for eligible orders, depending on the product, delivery location, courier service, and payment collection arrangements.
Customers must ensure that the order recipient is available to receive the shipment and complete the required payment.
Pay on Delivery through UPI or another digital method is available only where the relevant delivery provider or authorized delivery representative supports that method.
GMED may contact customers to verify order details before dispatch. Orders that cannot be verified may be delayed or cancelled in accordance with applicable terms and law.
Delivery Address and Contact Information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number, email address, and any necessary delivery instructions.
Please contact GMED as soon as possible if you need to correct an address before dispatch. Changes cannot be guaranteed once a shipment has been handed over to the courier.
Additional charges, delays, or failed delivery attempts may occur if the address or contact information is incorrect or incomplete.
Receiving Your Shipment
Customers are encouraged to inspect the outer packaging upon delivery and report visible damage, signs of tampering, missing packages, or incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, retain the packaging, shipping label, invoice, and photographs of the shipment and any visible damage.
For medical equipment, customers should verify the product model, quantity, accessories, and serial number where applicable.
Please contact GMED if the shipment appears damaged or incomplete. Reporting a problem promptly helps us investigate and coordinate with the relevant shipping provider.
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, missing, or incorrect product, contact GMED at the details provided below.
Please share your order or invoice number, product details, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs or videos where relevant.
GMED will review the claim and determine the appropriate next steps under the applicable order terms, warranty conditions, Return and Exchange Policy, and applicable law.
Customers should not dispose of the packaging or return equipment without first receiving instructions from GMED, unless immediate action is required by law or safety considerations.
Failed Delivery and Undelivered Shipments
A delivery may fail because the recipient is unavailable, the address is incorrect, the recipient declines the shipment, payment cannot be collected, or the courier cannot access the delivery location.
Where possible, GMED or the shipping provider may attempt to coordinate redelivery.
If a shipment is returned to GMED, additional shipping charges or order adjustments may apply where permitted by the applicable order terms and law. Any decision concerning cancellation, reshipping, exchange, or refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable policies and legal requirements.
Special Handling and Installation
Certain medical equipment may require careful handling, special packaging, installation, commissioning, or coordination with trained personnel.
Where these services are required or offered, the applicable arrangements, charges, responsibilities, and estimated timelines will be communicated through the quotation, invoice, or separate agreement.
Delivery alone does not necessarily include installation, commissioning, demonstrations, or user training unless these services are expressly included in the order.
Customers should ensure that the delivery site is suitable for receiving and installing the equipment.
Shipping Delays and Events Beyond Our Control
GMED is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including courier disruptions, extreme weather, natural disasters, transport restrictions, strikes, or government actions.
However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in obtaining shipment updates and resolving delivery issues.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
